Drama is filled throughout many reality shows on MTV, and The City is no exception. As Whitney and Jay's relationship seems to be growing, other high fashion, stiletto-wearing girls are finding out the hard way that their significant others might not be completely trustworthy. Much like many previous episodes, "Boy's Night Out" opens with Whitney and Jay chitchatting over drinks in a small restaurant. This time, however, they will not be dining alone.

With his deep Australian accent, Jay gives Whitney the information regarding their dinner buddies, Adam and Allie, both of whom happen to be Jay's roommates. We could predict already that the other Cali girl, Allie, will find herself in a bind by the conclusion of the night. As the four sit with their meals in a dimly lit restaurant, Allie reveals she will be out of town, coincidentally, the same time Adam will be attending a "boy's night out." It is not exactly what the doctor ordered for the relationship.

Once the plane leaves the runway, Adam is free from Allie. With little regard for his girlfriend's feelings, Adam is later found in an crowded club surrounded by women. Viewers nervously anticipate his next move, which cannot be anything positive. As the girls are shouting "Let's have fun," we can only assume the worst from here.

As the show resumes after commercials, a rumor has spread amongst the tiny clique of the Big Apple. Adam has supposedly kissed another girl named Kat. Once the news reaches Whitney, her mouth drops as she exclaims, "What is wrong with these people?" If Jay is surrounding himself amongst people like Adam, what makes him so trustworthy?

Adam knows what he needs to do: confront Allie. As she strolls out of JFK with her luggage at hand, Adam is there to greet her. He cannot wipe the grin off of his face as he prepares to admit the truth. In attempts to waste time by randomly asking if there was turbulence, Adam gets closer to revealing what he was up to while she was gone. Smiling uncontrollably, Adam then says there is an insane accusation that he has kissed another girl. Somehow we do not believe that he was just making small talk.

A nervous Allie confronts the girls, a more trustworthy option. They all believe that the rumors are true, leaving a teary eyed and broken hearted Allie fuming and ready to burst.

"I'm sorry baby," Adam says unconvincingly in his "apologetic" voice. Though he claims to do all in his power to make his girlfriend happy, she is standing before him with tears and mascara rolling down her cheeks.

How can she trust someone who just laughed at the situation one day before? Will she give Adam a second chance that he might not necessarily deserve? It seems that in times of pain and heartbreak, a girl can only turn to her friends. The drama has only just begun. We are still in for a whole season of breakups, heartaches, and rocky relationships. It is a big city, and perhaps the girls will find someone who truly appreciates their company. We will just have to wait and see.
